Jeff Nadeau of Sepulveda Monroe High cleared a state-leading 7 feet 2 1/4 inches to win the high jump in the Valley Pac-8 Conference track and field finals at Birmingham High.
Nadeau, who broke the City Section record of 7-1, also won the long jump at 22-2 and placed second in the triple jump at 45-2 1/2.
