The Driver’s Guide To Traffic Trouble

Road closures and repair work on freeways and surface streets in and around the Valley. Information has been provided by Caltrans and cities.

GOLDEN STATE FREEWAY (5)

* At Olive Avenue: One northbound lane will be closed from the Olive Avenue overcrossing to Burbank Boulevard, including the Orange Grove and Burbank Boulevard off-ramps, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Tuesday.

* At Colorado Boulevard: The southbound Colorado Boulevard off-ramp will be closed Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

* At Verdugo Avenue: One southbound lane will be closed from Verdugo Avenue to Alameda Avenue, including the Alameda Avenue and Verdugo Avenue off-ramps, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Wednesday.

* At Fletcher Drive: The southbound Fletcher Drive off-ramp will be closed Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

* At Alameda Avenue: One northbound lane will be closed from a quarter mile south of Alameda Avenue to Providencia Avenue, including the Alameda Avenue off-ramp, from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. Thursday.

VENTURA FREEWAY (101)

* At Wendy Drive: One southbound lane will be closed 2,000 feet north of Wendy Drive to Wendy Drive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and the southbound Wendy Drive off-ramp will be closed Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

* At San Rafael: The westbound San Rafael on-ramp will be closed Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

HOLLYWOOD FREEWAY (170)

* At Sheldon Street: One eastbound lane will be closed from Sheldon Street to Vanowen Street, including the Sheldon Street on-ramp and the Roscoe Boulevard on-ramp and off-ramp, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.

* At Magnolia Boulevard: The southbound Magnolia Boulevard on-ramp, Riverside Drive off-ramp and the acceleration lane between them will be closed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

HOLLYWOOD FREEWAY (101)

* At Cahuenga BoulevardC: The southbound Universal/Cahuenga Boulevard on-ramp will be closed Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

* At Benton Way: One lane will be closed in each direction from the Benton Way overcrossing to the Highland Avenue undercrossing from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

GLENDALE FREEWAY (2)

* At Verdugo Road: The northbound Verdugo Road off-ramp will be closed Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

* At Verdugo Road: The northbound Verdugo Road on-ramp will be closed Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

SANTA MONICA FREEWAY (10)

* At Normandie Avenue: Lanes will be closed in each direction from Normandie Avenue to Santa Fe Avenue from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.

* At Normandie Avenue: One westbound lane of the collector road at Normandie Avenue will be closed Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

* At Lincoln Boulevard: The westbound Lincoln Boulevard off-ramp will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday.

BURBANK

* At Riverside Drive: One lane in each direction will be closed through August at Riverside Drive and Alameda Street.

ANTELOPE VALLEY

The following streets will be closed indefinitely: 110th Street East from Avenue M to Avenue K; 235th Street East from Avenue U to Palmdale Boulevard; and Avenue S from Longview Road to 165th Street East.

PALMDALE

* At the Antelope Valley Freeway: The median lanes of Avenue P will be closed from the Antelope Valley Freeway to 10th Street West through May. The westbound median lane will be closed in the mornings only and the eastbound median lane will be closed in the afternoons only.

* At Avenue Q: 20th Street East will be closed through early August from Avenue Q to Palmdale Boulevard.

Hollywood Freeway: One eastbound lane closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday.
