PRO FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Gannon Is Traded to Washington
Rich Gannon, his job with the Minnesota Vikings already handed to Jim McMahon, was traded to Washington for a conditional draft choice. Gannon, with the Vikings since 1987, split time last season with Sean Salisbury with mediocre results.
He ended the season completing 159 of 279 passes for 1,905 yards, 12 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

Andre Rison, the Atlanta Falcons’ top receiver, ended his holdout and reported to training camp in Suwanee, Ga., after signing a two-year contract. Terms were not disclosed. . . . The Miami Dolphins say they will cut their contract offer to running back Bobby Humphrey by $200,000 unless he is signed and in camp no later than Monday. The Dolphins have reportedly offered $825,000. Humphrey is seeking $1.2 million.
Running back Harold Green ended his holdout and signed a three-year, $4.1-million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Enquirer reported. Green, 25, made $305,000 in 1992, when he rushed for 1,170 yards and was Cincinnati’s top receiver with 41 catches.
