COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Titan Men Defeat Fresno in Soccer

Fourteen minutes into overtime, Matt Bradbury passed to All-American Eddie Soto, who kicked the ball past Fresno State goalkeeper David Kramer as Cal State Fullerton defeated Fresno State, 1-0, Sunday in the final game of the Titan Soccer Classic.

Titan goalkeeper Mike Ammann had seven saves in recording his second shutout. Cal State Fullerton, ranked No. 17 by Soccer America, is 4-0.

Also in the tournament, Washington beat Cal State Northridge, 2-1. Cal State Fullerton beat fourth-ranked Washington on Friday.

UC Irvine 4, Grand Canyon 0--Led by PJ Polowski, the Anteaters won their first game of the season against visiting Grand Canyon (0-5-1). Senior Scott Smith scored the fourth goal late in the second half. UC Irvine is 1-2.
