Royal Girls Breeze to Volleyball Win

Donna Zeman served for the final nine points of the first game, leading the Royal High girls’ volleyball team to a 15-1, 15-2, 15-1 victory over visiting Channel Islands in a Marmonte League opener.

Heidi Ferguson had 15 assists and Teri Enright had six kills for Royal (4-3, 1-0).

In other girls’ volleyball matches:

Agoura d. Newbury Park, 15-6, 15-7, 15-8--Christine Arguijo had seven kills and Kari Norberg had 15 assists for the visiting Panthers in a Marmonte League match.

Westlake d. Camarillo, 11-15, 15-8, 15-13, 15-5--Kristin Lee had 21 kills and Shanon Sincock added 20 for the Warriors (3-0, 1-0) in a Marmonte League match at Camarillo (2-1, 0-1).
