Peter H. Dailey of San Marino has been elected chairman of the board of trustees of Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead.

The U.S. ambassador to Ireland in 1982-83, Dailey serves as the chairman of Enniskerry Financial Ltd., a personal investment company. In addition, Dailey is or has been on the corporate boards of Chicago Title and Trust Co., Walt Disney Productions and the Waterford-Wedgwood Group (Ireland).

Dailey has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UCLA.

Bosco Tech is a high school and junior college that combines college preparatory work and education in technology.

Christopher A. Paxson of Arcadia Boy Scout Troop 125 has achieved Scouting’s highest rank and received the Eagle Scout award at a recent Court of Honor.

Christopher started his Scouting career as a member of Cub Scout Pack 113 at Hugo Reid School in Arcadia, where he earned Cub Scouting’s highest award, the Arrow of Light.

On the trail to Eagle, Christopher earned 21 merit badges. For his Eagle project, Christopher led a group of Scouts that built and erected 75 feet of wooden fencing at one of the resident homes owned and operated by Five Acres, a charitable organization in Altadena.

Christopher is a recent graduate of Flintridge Preparatory School, where he played on the varsity soccer team.
