Clements Sparks CSUN Comeback in Volleyball

MORAGA — Missy Clements had 29 kills and Aimee Stone contributed 25 to help Cal State Northridge rebound from a first-game loss Friday and take a nonconference women’s volleyball victory over St. Mary’s, 11-15, 15-9, 15-11, 15-6.
The Matadors improved to 7-8 with the triumph at McKeon Pavilion.
Clements, a junior outside hitter, converted more than half her attempts with only four errors to spark the Matador rally. After a 13.6 attack percentage in the first game, CSUN improved to 25.8, 20.6 and 48 in the ensuing games.
