Before he was given his own NBC series, Flipper starred in two feature films. TBS repeats the first and best in the dolphin’s oeuvre, Flipper (Tuesday at 12:30 a.m.), a whale of a 1963 tale which also stars humans Chuck Connors and Luke Halpin.

Shirley MacLaine plays herself in Out On a Limb (Saturday at 5 p.m on Lifetime), a 1987 miniseries based on her best-selling book about her love affair with a British politician (Charles Dance) and her spiritual rebirth.
