Columnist’s Home Spared in Firestorm

Los Angeles Times columnist Al Martinez and his wife, Cinelli, returned to their Topanga Canyon home late Thursday to find it intact and unburned. They appear to be out of danger. Their son, Allen, assisted in saving his own home in Red Rock State Park. Martinez’s column will resume Tuesday.
