UCLA Graduate Wins Pacific Players West Golf

SAN CLEMENTE — Debbi Koyama of Westlake Village shot a final-round 69 to win the Pacific Players West golf tournament by five strokes Thursday at the Pacific Golf Club.
Koyama, a UCLA graduate, finished the 54-hole tournament at one-over 217 to win her first professional title. Kim Cathrein of Salinas and Lisa Grimes of Gold Canyon, Ariz., shot final rounds of 72 to finish at 222.
Second-round leader Jacque Vigil of San Diego, who had a four-stroke lead heading into the final round, shot an 81.
Mary Enright of Laguna Niguel shot a 69 to finish tied for 15th. Amateur Tyna Uhlar of San Clemente finished 21st.
