OUTLOOK

Starr feels good about this team, and on paper, you can’t blame the third-year coach. Heading up the squad is the 6-5 Linsey, who is expected to be dazzling at the post position. The senior, who Starr said has received about 70 scholarship offers, was an all-state player last year and he expects her to achieve top honors again this season. Senior and team captain Amundson, who possesses quickness and “excellent ballhandling” skills, should be a good team leader. Unlike last year’s team, which Starr admits wasn’t well balanced, the Eagles should benefit from Amundson’s three-point shooting. As for height, the Eagles are in good shape. In addition to Linsey, Seltzer (6-2) will provide extra rebounding power. Seltzer, a junior, played volleyball for Sea View League champion Woodbridge last year. “We should be in contention for a spot in the top three,” Starr said.
