Four County Players in Volleyball Match

An all-star field that includes four Orange County girls’ volleyball players will be featured Saturday night at Long Beach State when 10 of the best seniors from California meet 10 top seniors from across the nation in the Girls’ High School All-American Volleyball Match.
The best-of-five match begins at 7 p.m. Players representing the area are Corona del Mar setter Kim Coleman and outside hitter Jennifer Stroffe, members of the two-time defending State champion Sea Kings, Laguna Hills middle blocker Amy Steele and Mission Viejo middle blocker Nina Foster.
Coaches for the California team are Manhattan Beach Mira Costa’s DaeLea Aldrich and Santa Cruz Harbor’s Jim Reilly. Tickets for the match are $5, and are available at the gate.
