Kahlbenn, from Rancho Alamitos High, last played basketball in 1989-90 for Christ College Irvine. She has quickly returned to form for Cypress this season. Kahlbenn had her best performance in the Fullerton tournament, scoring 26 points, including five three-pointers, and had 12 rebounds to help Cypress beat Fullerton, 66-57, in the third-place game. She scored 23 points in the first half, including four three-pointers, as the Chargers opened a 40-26 lead. She averaged 12 points and six rebounds for the four games.

Other notables:

* LeAnn Kazmer of Orange Coast scored 46 points and had 28 rebounds as Orange Coast lost twice in the San Jose tournament.
