Man, 30, Shot to Death at Sylmar Party
A 30-year-old Riverside County man was shot and killed at a party in Sylmar this weekend, according to police.
Kevin Bailey, an unemployed custodian from the desert community of Blythe, was found dead at the scene of the shooting, which appears to have been gang-related, said Sgt. Frank Reynoso of the Foothill Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Reynoso said several members from opposing gangs came to a party Saturday night in the 13300 block of Dyer Avenue, and an altercation began.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the killing and there were no suspects in custody Sunday, Reynoso said.
