In the Empire League:

El Dorado 37, Los Alamitos 27--Allen McWalters won by technical fall at 130 pounds to help sixth-ranked El Dorado (11-0, 3-0) to its 15th consecutive league victory.

Loara 33, Esperanza 27--Juan Rodriguez pinned Noah Culp in 1:25 at 140 for Loara (14-3, 2-1).

In South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 43, Mater Dei 22--Mission Viejo (17-7-1, 3-1) won all of the matches from the 145-pound weight class on up. Scott Rojo, the top-ranked wrestler in the county at 189, pinned Matt Kariek 1:10 into the match.

Capistrano Valley 36, San Clemente 22--The seventh-ranked Cougars won six of the first seven weight classes as they rolled over No. 8 San Clemente in a South Coast League showdown. Capistrano Valley improved to 13-2, 4-0; San Clemente dropped to 16-4, 3-1.

“They came out real fired up,” San Clemente Coach Mark Calentino said. “They were on fire.

In the Sunset League:

Santa Ana 62, Marina 9--Roger Santiago, at 112 pounds, started the pinning frenzy for Santa Ana, which recorded eight pins. Santa Ana, ranked fifth in Orange County, remains undefeated at 14-0, 6-0.

Huntington Beach 36, Ocean View 32--Heavyweight James Parker of Huntington Beach determined the outcome of the match by pining his opponent in 53 seconds. Huntington Beach is 6-12, 3-2.
