Oscar Gala to Salute ’93 Documentary Picks
Producer Jack Haley Jr. will host the International Documentary Assn.’s 12th annual Oscar Reception honoring this year’s Academy Award nominees in documentary categories on Thursday at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, 8949 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills.
Among the presenters will be actor Jon Voight and director William Friedkin.
There will be a film program at 8 p.m. followed by a reception at 9:30 p.m. in the academy lobby.
