2 Former Inhabitants Arrested in Biosphere Break-In
Two people who lived inside Biosphere 2 for two years were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of breaking into the sealed environmental experiment and leaving the doors open so air could get in.
Abigail Alling, who has been taking responsibility for Monday’s intrusion in calls to reporters across the country, faces three felony charges: second-degree burglary, criminal property damage of more than $250 and first-degree criminal trespass.
She was arrested at a Tucson motel with fellow crew member Mark Van Thillo, said Pinal County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Belia Fessenden. Van Thillo faces the same charges.
