Carson 7, Washington 5--After tying the score at 5, Washington gave up two unearned runs on a throwing error in the bottom of the sixth to lose a Southern Pacific Conference game Thursday at Carson.

Washington outfielder Alex Villarieal’s run-scoring single with two outs in the sixth inning tied the score at 5. Carson came back in the bottom of the sixth, putting runners at second and third. With one out, Daks Blanks hit a base hit to center field, scoring both runners when a Washington outfielder threw the ball over the backstop and into the parking lot.
