In the Freeway League:

La Habra 2, Troy 1--Kristie Bravo had two hits, scored a run and stole three bases for La Habra (5-7, 1-0) in the league opener. Teammate Amber Duarte had two hits, two stolen bases and 1 RBI.

Fullerton 3, Sunny Hills 2--Angie Fancuberta had a two-out single in the seventh to give host Fullerton the victory.

In the Garden Grove League:

Garden Grove 8, Santiago 2--Wendy Griffin hit a three-run home run in the first inning for Garden Grove (9-7, 3-1).

Kennedy 8, Garden Grove 3--Jake Koziel hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning to put the game out of reach for Kennedy (8-6, 2-1).

Kennedy 1, Rancho Alamitos 0--Lisa Pitt threw a no-hitter, striking out six to lead Kennedy (3-0 in league).

In the Olympic League:

Orange Lutheran 8, Capistrano Valley Christian 2--Leigh Anne Pannell had two hits for host Orange Lutheran (6-3, 1-2).

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 3, Magnolia 1--Bonnie Smith allowed one earned run on three hits to lead Brea-Olinda (5-8, 1-0).

In the Pacific Coast League:

Laguna Hills 16, Laguna Beach 0 (5, mercy)--Jennifer Arzola had a triple and a home run during a 10-run fourth for host Laguna Hills (6-8, 1-0). Windy Schofield pitched a no-hitter for Laguna Hills.

Costa Mesa 10, Estancia 9--In the top of the seventh with two outs, Raeme Payne was hit by a pitch, stole second and third base and was singled in by Jenny Prier for the victory. As a team Costa Mesa (6-6, 1-0) had 17 stolen bases.

In the Olympic League:

Brethren Christian 2, Calvary Chapel 0--Melissa Cape had two hits and scored a run for host Brethren (9-3, 2-2). Calvary is 5-12, 2-2.

In the Sunset League:

Huntington Beach 1, Ocean View 0--Jessica Walker struck out five and allowed three hits to lead Huntington Beach (9-5, 3-1).
