Danny Prince, who established school and Foothill Conference three-point scoring records at Antelope Valley College, has signed to play basketball at UC Santa Barbara, Antelope Valley Coach Newton Chelette said Wednesday.

Prince, a 6-foot-1 point guard from Quartz Hill High, set a school single-game record last season with 11 three-point baskets. He led the state with 178 three-point baskets, also a Marauder single-season record.

He averaged 23.1 points during the regular season, and was the conference player of the year and an all-state selection.
