CITY SECTION TEAM GOLF FINAL

* Today’s schedule: The section’s top teams will tee off at noon at Knollwood Country Club in Granada Hills.

* Last year’s champions: Team--Granada Hills. Individual--Darren Angel, Granada Hills.

* Outlook: The top two teams qualify for the CIF-Southern California Golf Assn. championship next month at Redlands Country Club. But the most interesting aspect of this tournament is Angel. Earlier this week, the junior player won a U.S. Open preliminary qualifying tournament in Bakersfield with a one-under par 71. Last month at Knollwood, he broke the course record with a nine-under 63 and he has not been over par all season there.
