Jordan 6, Bell 5--Art Valera had a three-run triple in the first inning as Jordan held on to beat host Bell in a Southeastern Conference game Thursday.
Trailing 6-2, the Eagles cut the deficit to one with three runs in the seventh and had the tying run on third. Pitcher Sergio Medrano, who entered with one out in the seventh, got Jose Lopez to ground out to first. Larry Gaytan then hit a soft chopper to third baseman Oscar Caracero, who threw Gaytan out to end the threat.
Junior left-hander Oscar Lopez pitched 6 1/3 innings to earn his third win.
