A volleyball camp for boys and girls in grades 6 through 12 will be begin Monday and end Aug. 19 at Cal State Los Angeles.

The camp will feature instruction for basic, advanced and elite players.

The camp will run daily from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Cost is $99.

A benefit golf tournament sponsored by the Pasadena/San Gabriel Valley chapter of the National Football Foundation will be staged Tuesday at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena.

The fifth annual tournament is a fund-raiser for the organization’s annual Student-Athlete Recognition Dinner and Scholarship Fund.

The tournament package includes coffee and doughnuts, 18 holes of golf, a cart and an awards luncheon. Cost is $90.

A golf tournament that will benefit the Hacienda Heights Library will be staged Aug. 22 at Hacienda Golf Club in La Habra Heights.

A $200 donation includes a golf cart, lunch on the course, dinner and an auction. Proceeds will be used to purchase materials for the library’s children’s collection.
