PREP FOOTBALL / Saturday Pullout : Holloway, Young Lead Orange Lutheran Victory
Che Holloway and Dan Young each scored two touchdowns as Orange Lutheran rolled to a 47-7 nonleague victory over San Bernardino Aquinas at Brea-Olinda High.
Holloway, a junior transfer from Tustin, ripped off a 51-yard run on the game’s first play from scrimmage, then scored on his next two carries to give the Lancers a 16-0 lead with 6 minutes 22 seconds remaining in the first quarter.
After Matt Stratton kicked his second field goal to open the second quarter, Young then rushed 17 yards for a touchdown and returned a punt for 53 yards and a touchdown to make it 33-0.
Jason McQueen led the Falcons in rushing with 60 yards in 16 carries, but had two key fumbles as Aquinas lost the schools’ first-ever meeting.
