GARDEN GROVE : Fire Stations Welcome Citizens to Open House
The Fire Department is holding an open house today at two fire stations in observance of National Fire Prevention Week.
Fire Station 1 at 11301 Acacia Parkway and Fire Station 4 at 12191 Valley View St. will be open for three hours, starting at 1 p.m., to residents who want to tour the stations and obtain information on fire safety.
In addition, firefighters will demonstrate firefighting techniques and will be available for children who want their pictures taken with them.
The theme for this year’s fire prevention week, which ends today, is “Test Your Detectors for Life.”
