San Marcos 13, Ventura 10--Alfredo Loreno kicked a 23-yard field goal with 19 seconds left to lead San Marcos at home.

In the final drive, quarterback Cory Leholm hit Det Hardy for 39 yards to set up the field goal. Leholm completed seven of 16 for 133 yards.

Ventura running back Aaron Davis suffered a cracked bone in his left hand in the second quarter. Davis had 53 yards in eight carries for the Cougars (1-5, 1-2).
