A proposal for an Orange County Section will be made today at the Southern Section Council meeting.
The proposal would create a section made up entirely of Orange County schools. It would begin in the 1995-96 school year.
If the proposal passes, it will be introduced at the State Federated Council meeting on Oct. 28-29. The county has 72 public and private schools. Officials said the smaller private schools would remain with the Southern Section.
