Cleveland 21, Jefferson 6--The Cleveland defense had four second-half interceptions as the Cavaliers advanced at Huntington Park.

Cleveland receiver Junior Brignac had four receptions for 44 yards and hauled in two second-quarter touchdowns for the Cavaliers (6-5). Quarterback Johnny Lopez completed 10 of 20 for 91 yards.

Brignac had two interceptions for Cleveland and Russell Burwell and Chuma Lewis each had one. Burwell also rushed for 57 yards and a touchdown in 14 carries.

Defensive back Raymond Allen of Jefferson (4-7) returned an interception 96 yards for the Democrats’ only touchdown.
