OUTLOOK
The Seahawks did some damage after earning an at-large bid to the Southern Section Division II-AA playoffs, winning their first-round game, 55-53, in overtime against El Monte Mountain View. They pushed fourth-seeded Glendora before losing, 58-53. Harris is confident that a return trip to the playoffs is probable with this squad. McDonald averaged 10 points in his first varsity season and might double that figure. Like many Seahawks, McDonald is an aggressive defender and good shooter. Harris has the luxury of depth and size, a combination many of his league colleagues wish their teams had. Hanson has a nice touch near the basket and should provide a solid defensive presence at center. Enriquez can dribble, score and pass--skills most coaches hope their guards possess. Petersen and Wilson provide excellent front-court possibilities.
