A field of 10 headed by Cardmania is entered in today’s $100,000-added Vernon O. Underwood Breeders’ Cup Stakes at Hollywood Park.

Cardmania, who has won 16 races and more than $1.4 million in a 69-race career that began in 1988, will be ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye and is assigned 120 pounds for the 14th running of the six-furlong race for 3-year-olds and up.

An 8-year-old Kentucky-bred gelding, Cardmania has recovered from a serious leg injury that almost forced him into retirement last February.
