Mater Dei, Senior
Basketball/Forward
Schea Cotton may be the Monarchs’ most-heralded star, but Jackson has been their most consistent player early this season. Jackson averaged 23.5 points in four games as Mater Dei won the Tournament of Champions. Saturday, with Cotton serving a one-game suspension after being ejected the night before, Jackson had 27 points, including nine in the fourth quarter, of the Monarchs’ 55-46 victory over Tustin in the title game. Jackson, a 6-foot-7 1/2 center who has signed a letter of intent to play for Wyoming next year, is the Monarchs’ leading scorer with a 20.6-point average.
