In other girls’ basketball games:

North Hollywood 82, Oak Park 66--Anna Celaya scored 35 points and Bobbie Celaya added 15 to lead the Huskies in a first-round rout in the Bell-Jeff tournament.

Alisha Valavanis (26 points and nine rebounds) led Oak Park (6-4). Natalie Davis had 20 points and seven rebounds for Oak Park.

St. Mary’s 66, Canyon 52--Nicole Legaux scored 35 points to lead St. Mary’s (7-3) over the Cowboys (4-6) in the first round of the Bell-Jeff tournament. Laura Tweedy scored 18 points to lead Canyon.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Chatsworth 73, Long Beach Wilson 69--Jerome Joseph and Eddie Miller combined for 20 fourth-quarter points, leading the Chancellors (9-1) to a come-from-behind victory in the first round of the Artesia tournament. Chatsworth trailed by eight after three quarters. Joseph had 29 points and Miller 23.

Harvard-Westlake 62, Baldwin Park 58 (OT)--Adam Gafni scored four points in overtime and Ben Robbins made a key-three point shot, helping the Wolverines (10-0) in the first round of the Covina tournament. Jason Colins scored 17 points and Jarron Collins added 11 and 11 rebounds.

Highland 84, Victor Valley 70--John Burrell scored 11 of the Bulldogs’ points during a decisive 27-11 run in the third quarter of a first-round game in the San Bernardino tournament. Burrell finished with 23 points. Jamal Dedeaux scored 25 and Carl Biel added 10 assists for Highland (9-1).

St. Genevieve 65, John Glenn 58--Senior forward Randy Iaccino scored 29 points, including four three-point baskets, to lead the Valiants (1-5) in the first round of the Cantwell Sacred Heart tournament. Mike Padilla added 17 points for St. Genevieve.

Edison 75, Hoover 54--Arbi Baghdasarian scored 17 points to lead the Tornadoes (2-8), but it wasn’t enough to beat last year’s Southern Section Division I-A runners-up in pool play of the Estancia tournament. Hoover trailed by one at halftime, but was outscored, 43-23, in the second half.

Josh Lightman scored 27 points to lead Edison.

BOYS’ SOCCER

Burroughs 1, Harvard-Westlake 1--Robbie Honicky’s goal at the 30-minute mark gave the visiting Indians (6-3-2) a nonleague tie. Warren Davidoff scored for Harvard (5-1-3).
