Cypress’ Works Scores Record 45 Points

Sara Works broke her single-game school record by scoring 45 points in Cypress’ 71-49 quarterfinal victory over American River Wednesday in the Fullerton tournament.

The sophomore from Savanna High, who averages a state-leading 28 points, made 17 of 27 from the field and 11 of 13 from the line to better by three points the record she set earlier this season.
