COMMUNITY COLLEGE NOTES : Nine From Fullerton Make Commitments

Nine members of the Fullerton College football team have announced plans to play at four-year colleges.
Heading the list is defensive back Armand Boglin, who will play at Utah next fall.
The others are defensive backs Jason Christensen (Central Michigan) and Kevin Shoup (Northern Michigan); linebackers Juan Esquivel (Northern Michigan), Chris Gaza (Southern Utah) and James Schoales (University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D.), and offensive linemen Mark Bigonger (Purdue), Paul Dalmas (Toledo) and Brandon LaGraffe (Nevada).

Tes Whitlock, a guard at Hawaii who averaged 20 points in three tournament games, was named player of the week Tuesday by the Western Athletic Conference.
Whitlock played at Loara High and Arizona State before playing at Saddleback last season. He is averaging 22 points this season for Hawaii.
