Jacobs was one of four Woodbridge players who scored in a 4-0 victory over Anaheim in the second round of the Southern Section Division II playoffs. In the quarterfinals against Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, he helped account for all the Warriors’ scoring. In the first half, he tied the score, 1-1, on a powerful volley from 18 yards out. Midway through the second half, he was pulled down from behind on a breakaway, leading to Gustav Gratzer’s penalty kick to tie the score, 2-2. Then with 10 minutes to play, Jacobs got to a rebound and slipped it past the goalkeeper for the winning goal.
