Outlook: The Mustangs move to the more competitive South Coast League, and should challenge perennial power Mission Viejo for the title. Manning was second in the 100 and 200 in the league finals, with Hall finishing the same in the 400 and 800. Okano won the shot put and discus titles. Henderson is one of the county’s finest all-around athletes. Griffith will make an immediate impact in the sprints and jumps. Keenan finished second in the section finals at 1,600 meters.
