Outlook: The Warriors are down, but don’t count them out. Varvas’ team is annually one of the area’s finest, but it will have its hands full in trying to win its fourth consecutive league title. Venook was a first-team all-county selection in cross-country last fall, and he will be the backbone of the Warriors’ team. Jeffrey is an all-around athlete who will contribute. Gibbs will try to fill the void left by sprinter Gary Young, who graduated.
