Santa Clarita / Antelope Valley : Woman, 62, Dies in Freeway Crash
ACTON —
A 62-year-old Quartz Hill woman was killed when her Ford Mustang rammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer truck on the Antelope Valley Freeway, authorities said Friday.
Elizabeth Nuckles was driving north just past Escondido Canyon Road about 10:10 p.m. Thursday when she drove into the truck traveling ahead of her, said California Highway Patrol Officer Brian Lottermoser.
Nuckles, who was wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, Lottermoser said.
