In the Century League boys’ finals:

Foote leads Foothill--Dan Foote won the 110 hurdles in 14.8 and the 300 hurdles in 39.7 for Foothill, which won the team title with 155 points. El Modena finished second with 122.5 points.

In the Century League girls’ finals:

Foothill wins convincingly--Foothill’s girls’ team won 11 of 16 events to win the team title with 255 points. Tara Oettinger won four events, the 100 (12.3), 200 (25.8), 400 (59.6) and long jump (18-1) for the Knights. Katie Mook won the 100 hurdles (15.3), the 300 hurdles (46.5) and triple jump (37-1) and Sabrina Caplis won the 800 (2:20.1) and the 1,600 (5:09.2).

El Modena finished with 85 points.

In the Olympic League boys’ finals:

Pacheco sets three records--Brandon Pacheco set league records in three events to lead Brethren Christian to the team title. Pacheco won the 800 (1:55.3), 1,600 (4:23.4) and the 3,200 (9:47.9). Teammate Steve Michels set a league record in the pole vault with a mark of 15 feet 9.

Calvary Chapel finished second with 127 points.

In the Olympic League girls’ finals:

Orange Lutheran wins--Laurie Juranek and Sarah Bonilla each won two events to lead Orange Lutheran to the team title with 179 points.
