Carrie Vaughn has been named girls’ tennis coach at Cypress High School, Athletic Director John Selbe said.

Vaughn was the boys’ coach last year, guiding the Centurions to a third-place finish and a Southern Section playoff berth. She will continue to coach the boys’ team.

“The resurgence of our program has been due entirely to Carrie,” Selbe said.
