CRENSHAW : Meeting to Discuss Quality of Life

The Crenshaw Cluster, a coalition of community groups focused on improving the quality of life in the Crenshaw district, is hosting a meeting 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Department of Water and Power, 4030 S. Crenshaw Blvd.
Titled “Crenshaw 2010,” the meeting will review current economic, cultural and political trends in the Crenshaw area. Guest speakers include Linda Smith from the city planning department, Rod Wright of the New Frontier Democratic Club and Lynn Joy Rogers of the Los Angeles Urban League.
The meeting is the first in a series of four community forums planned by the Crenshaw Cluster, which formed in 1993. Cluster members include Crenshaw Neighbors Inc., West Angeles Church Community Development Corp., Crenshaw Chamber of Commerce, Consolidated Realty Board and Crenshaw Neighborhood Housing Services.
