Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies arrested four bank robbery suspects as they were trying to switch getaway cars a few blocks from the bank, authorities said Friday.

Arrested were David Moore, 40, and Lores Jackson, 34, both of Palmdale, as well as Zomita Tannan, 33, and Lessely Galloway, 24, both of Lancaster, Sgt. Bob Denham said.

Brandishing guns, the men and one woman burst into the 1st City Savings bank at 44355 Lowtree Ave. about 9:55 a.m., ordering employees and customers to the floor, Denham said. They scooped up an undisclosed amount of money from the teller stations and fled in a dark sedan, authorities said.

Deputies found the sedan abandoned nearby, along with money stained by ink squirted by the bank’s booby-trapped pouch, Denham said. Witnesses directed deputies to the suspects, who had dashed behind a corner liquor store to get into a second getaway car.

The four were being held on $50,000 bail each at the Antelope Valley Sheriff’s Station.
