SAN DIEGO —
A fast-moving wildfire charred more than 100 acres and threatened several dozen homes Sunday before firefighters were able to contain the blaze, officials said.
The fire started about 3 p.m. on Black Mountain and quickly spread toward San Diego’s Rancho Penasquitos neighborhood about 25 miles north of downtown, firefighters said. It was fully contained about 7:30 p.m., said fire dispatcher David Carman.
No injuries were reported, he said.
