COLLEGE FOOTBALL / DAILY REPORT : UCLA : Fien Practices on Limited Basis
Quarterback Ryan Fien, still suffering from blurred vision as a result of a concussion, nonetheless returned to practice Tuesday on a limited basis.
Two fellow Bruins, offensive tackle Jonathan Ogden and tight end Brian Richards, sat out practice for the second straight day while recovering from concussions of their own.
All three were hurt in Saturday’s night’s season-opening victory over Miami.
Coach Terry Donahue remains hopeful that all three will play this Saturday against Brigham Young at Provo, Utah.
Ogden, who received his concussion when he was inadvertently kicked in the head, and Richards, who got his when he banged helmets with an opponent while on special teams, were not sufficiently recovered to practice.
