OUTLOOK

One of the county’s most successful eight-man programs during the decade, the Tartans have made the jump to 11-man football and the Freedom League. Some growing pains are likely to follow, especially since St. Margaret’s enters the larger domain after struggling through one of its worst seasons. The offensive and defensive lines should be strengths for St. Margaret’s because many experienced players return at those positions. The same, however, cannot be said at other positions. Heydenrych will call the signals after playing defensive back as a junior. He has good instincts and will be counted on for big plays and leadership. Burroughs and Hennings must provide a consistent, physical presence.
