Stab Victim Found Dead in Santa Ana

A unidentified man was found fatally stabbed Thursday in a strip mall’s parking lot near 4th and Spurgeon streets, police said.

A bicyclist discovered the body about 1:50 a.m. near a pizza parlor in the 300 block of East 4th Street and called police, Lt. Jose Garcia said, adding that the victim, perhaps in his 20s, suffered stab wounds to his chest and died at a local hospital.

“It appeared he was stabbed at the location where he was found,” Garcia said.

No weapon was found, and police have no suspect.
