SEASON AT A GLANCE: Czernek was considered one of the area’s top returning quarterbacks after passing for 1,383 yards in seven games as a sophomore. He blossomed during the last three games, throwing more than 40 passes in each game and completing 68 of 131 (51.9%) for 710 yards.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: In the Panthers’ 43-20 victory over Waimea of Kauai, Czernek passed for a career-high 376 yards, completing 19 of 34 passes, including four for touchdowns. His improvement in directing the run-and-shoot offense was apparent--he utilized five different receivers. Patrick Reddick and DeJuan Hawkins each had more than 100 yards receiving.
