A scoreboard malfunction that delayed the start of the game for 15 minutes only prolonged the inevitable for Katella High Friday night.

Once the game started, the outcome was never in doubt as Orange High (3-0) rolled to a 31-0 victory over the winless Knights, who have yet to score this season.

Orange’s defense set the tone in the first half, allowing the Katella offense only 22 total offensive yards and one first down. The Panthers led, 17-0, at halftime.
