Boy Hit by Car While Bicycling

RESEDA — An 8-year-old boy was critically injured Saturday afternoon when he was hit by a car while riding a bicycle, authorities said.
The accident happened about 4:30 p.m. at Victory Boulevard and Lindley Avenue, said Los Angeles City Fire Department spokesman Bob Collis.
It was not known how the accident occurred.
The boy, who suffered a head injury, was transported by helicopter to Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, Collis said.
