Boy, 14, in Critical Condition After Shooting in Paramount
A 14-year-old boy who was shot Wednesday on a Paramount street was in extremely critical condition, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
The attack occurred about 1:45 p.m. in the 16400 block of California Avenue, said Deputy Jim Hellmold of the sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
The boy was taken to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, Hellmold said, adding that there were no further details immediately available.
